It’s difficult to trust it’s been barely a long time since darling actor Heath Ledger — known best for his parts in “10 Things I Hate About You,” “Brokeback Mountain,” and perhaps most notably, “The Dark Knight” — passed away, abandoning companions, family, fans, and the most critical individual in his life — his two-year-old little girl, Matilda Rose.
Ledger died on January 22, 2008, at only 28 years of age. At the time, he’d been blending deadly measurements of remedy pills to battle his sleep deprivation, which prompted an unplanned overdose and his death.
“For as long as I’d known him, he had bouts with insomnia,” said actress Michelle Williams, Ledger’s former fiancée and Matilda Rose’s mother. “He had too much energy. His mind was turning, turning turning — always turning.”
Talking about the news of Ledger’s passing, Larry Williams, Michelle’s father, stated, “It has just broken everybody’s heart in my family. My heart goes out to everyone, his family, my family, we are just very saddened. The saddest thing is his daughter, whom he just loved dearly.”
In spite of the fact that Matilda Rose was compelled to grow up without a dad, it shows up she’s doing admirably. It’s presumably helped that she’s spent the vast majority of the previous decade out of the spotlight. In any case, late photos of the now young person have been standing out as truly newsworthy — to be specific, since she’s the spitting picture of her late father.
“When Heath was around, she looked so much like him, we used to say ‘It’s Heath in pig tails’. Now everything she does, the way she rides a skateboard, reminds me of Heath,” explained Ledge’s sister, Kate, in the documentary “I Am Heath Ledger.”
I am curios about whether Matilda Rose will choose to follow in her mother and father’s strides. Considering how skilled her family is and was, there’s no doubt as far as I can tell that she’d make an incredible actor or performer.
